Saber Interactive and Stormind Games have announced their latest venture, a single-player horror adventure game: “A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead.”
While Saber Interactive promises a new story, the game is largely considered a spin-off of the popular movie franchise, “A Quiet Place”.
The game is set in the same universe as the films, filled with monstrous creatures. According to the Game’s X handle, it is scheduled for release on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S later this year.
The first trailer, available on YouTube gives a glimpse into the life of a young woman battling not only the terrifying creatures but also her own personal fears.
In the game, players will find themselves in a world where silence is survival. They will need to scavenge for supplies and navigate through various environments, all while avoiding making any noise that could attract the sound-sensitive alien monsters.
The game brings new survival strategies to the table, such as using bags of sand to muffle footsteps. However, the main character’s asthma presents a unique challenge, as she can become disoriented without her inhaler.
This announcement coincides with the upcoming release of the prequel movie “A Quiet Place: Day One,” which takes viewers back to the day the aliens first arrived.
“A Quiet Place” Movies
The story of “A Quiet Place” begins with the Abbott family in the first movie released in 2018. Two years later, it continued in “A Quiet Place: Part II,” with the surviving family members venturing into the unknown. “A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead” is set to add a new chapter to the storyline.
As excitement about the game mounts, franchise fans will be eager to have it on their gaming devices and see how it adds to the game’s story.
